Congratulations! You have made it back to work. For some of you it will feel like you have never been away, and for others there may be a period of adjustment. You may be back in your old job or have taken on a different role. Your working patterns could have changed to fit around your childcare arrangements.

Many new parents describe the first few weeks back at work as quite exciting. However, after the novelty of the first few weeks some find there is a drop in emotional energy, and they can start to question their abilities and choices. It’s at this stage when you truly start to appreciate the terms juggling and work life balance.

We’ve compiled this handy list of things you may want to consider for your first 90 days back to the workplace. Everyone is different but this checklist will hopefully ensure that your return is successful and that it works for you, your family and your employer.
