His corporate career includes senior leadership roles at O2, Three and BlackBerry, where he led recruitment, leadership development and learning strategy across Europe, Asia, and the UK. He supports clients to strengthen strategic clarity, enhance leadership presence and build the confidence to take considered risks at pivotal career moments.
Patrick’s coaching style is informal yet perceptive. He combines deep listening with thoughtful challenge, creating a space where leaders can reflect honestly, test assumptions and translate insight into meaningful action. He is particularly effective with individuals at transition points, whether stepping into broader leadership roles, managing increased scale or redefining professional priorities.
He has worked across financial services, technology, consumer goods, publishing, and sport. Representative clients include A&O Shearman, Deutsche Bank, Nest Pensions, McLaren, Nuveen, and Derwent London.
Patrick also has a strong interest in parental transitions. Having balanced senior corporate roles with part time leadership responsibilities over several years, he brings both professional insight and lived experience to conversations about career design, sustainability, and long-term success.

Patrick is an exceptional listener who helped me gain a much deeper understanding of both my personality and my leadership style. From the outset, our conversations explored areas I hadn’t previously considered, even down to the language I used to articulate my thoughts. Working with Patrick has broadened my perspective and had a clear, positive impact on both my day-to-day performance and my overall wellbeing. I’ll admit I was initially sceptical about coaching, but after completing the programme, I can clearly see how valuable it has been; not only for my professional growth but also for my personal development. As a father of two, I also appreciated that Patrick and I discussed the realities of balancing a demanding career with family life. Although this wasn’t my original reason for seeking coaching, it has genuinely influenced how I interact with my children and manage that balance at home.I would highly recommend executive coaching to anyone in a leadership role, and especially working with Patrick.
Patrick has been a great support to me throughout my first two years at England Rugby. He is extremely knowledgeable about leadership development, progressive in his approach and always keen to challenge you.
Thank you for your help and advice over the past 4 or 5 years. You’ve really help direct my mind and really focus on what post rugby may look like.
All employees deserve to get an attentive, committed and improvement focused coach, and all businesses deserve to get improvement from investing their employees. This coaching experience delivered on both those things - it’s the easiest decision you can make
The six sessions I had with my ECC Coach changed my perspective of coaching. I was initially uncertain (and possibly sceptical) about the benefits of coaching but my coach read me very well and knew when to coax a response out from me by being encouraging and when to firmly push me to see the benefits of reframing some of my previously held positions.
I found my ECC coaching sessions incredibly valuable – for the unique and necessary space I was seeking as a sole proprietor to feel heard, understood and connected to a peer in business. My coaching experience provided a safe space where I could be the real me, and provided a relationship I could truly trust. Thank you ECC.
