Hannah Cleaton-Roberts

Executive Coach

Meet Hannah Cleaton-Roberts, an executive coach specialising in financial services, with 13 years experience, specialising in a highly complex area of tax.

Country: United Kingdom

Sector experience: Financial Services

Background

Prior to training as an Executive Coach, Hannah was a financial services partner at Ernst & Young (EY) for 13 years, specialising in a highly complex area of tax. Her roles included leading EY’s insurance tax teams in UK and Europe, as well as delivering major multi-jurisdictional projects and leading large client account teams.

While a partner at EY, Hannah had two children, and for much of her time as a partner she worked either four or three days a week.

Throughout her career she has taken a particular interest in people development, supporting many people in their careers at all levels from entry level graduate to partner.

Coaching Style

Hannah’s style is warm and supportive, and grounded in positive psychology.  Her overall aim is to help people to a place where they can flourish and thrive, where they can reanimate their ambition and align their values with those of their organisation, so bringing benefit to both.  She believes that people are capable of profound development and change when that comes from a place of enhanced self-awareness combined with positive aspiration.  She creates a safe environment in which robust challenge is possible.

With a mathematics degree and a long career in an area of highly complex advisory work, Hannah enjoys working with people in technically challenging roles.  She understands the particular challenges faced by highly intellectual individuals particularly as they balance delivery with leadership.  She also believes in the importance and power of creativity both in helping people find balance in their lives and in helping people resolve the issues in front of them.

She is described as empathetic, supportive and empowering.
