Background

“What does it really mean to ‘thrive’?”

"Over the past two-plus decades, I have worked with Executives, Leaders and Entrepreneurs in India, US, and Europe and as CEO of non-profit, Maitri India. I have come to realise that many of the sharpest and brightest minds don’t know their strengths. In my view, being clear about your strengths and being deliberate in playing to them, is a major contributing factor to thriving both at work and in life.

My own work experience has been with organisations such as Dow Jones Newswires, Aon Hewitt and McKinsey Knowledge Center. I draw on all the career insights gathered across 20 + years, to inspire those I coach to live & operate from a place of authenticity as an individual and as a leader."

Coaching Style

Sonal’s ambit of experience and coach training has given her a vast range of approaches and tools to bring to her coaching practice. She is an astute judge of what style and tools the client needs in a particular situation. Sonal brings a powerful combination of compassion and insight, helping her clients to have a fresh perspective.

She enjoys those coaching moments when someone starts to see patterns of behavior and to understand how these might be contributing to successes and disappointments. She likes to work with clients who are at a point in their careers when choices or decisions need to be made.

Her clients find Sonal’s coaching to be an unexpectedly empowering experience. They say they value the safe place she enables in which to explore what limits them and how to bring long lasting transformation. Executive Senior Leader
The six sessions I had with my ECC Coach changed my perspective of coaching. I was initially uncertain (and possibly sceptical) about the benefits of coaching but my coach read me very well and knew when to coax a response out from me by being encouraging and when to firmly push me to see the benefits of reframing some of my previously held positions.
