Impactful coaching fosters sustainable change for the individual and transforms your business
Our global clients repeatedly describe our coaching as sharp and strategic with a pragmatic business focus. Coaching will help your people see themselves more clearly, and gain the insights they need to grow and develop.
But that’s not the whole story. We help them with the right balance of support and challenge to find their answers and the route to change. We are experts in neuroscience, including behavioural, and strategies for performance. That means it’s a long-term and sustainable transformation, and they will feel the benefit long after we have stopped working with them.
Getting the right coach for your leaders can be daunting, but we will help make it easier. Because we have been matching coaches to leaders for years, and we know what works. And our global and diverse team of coaches are the best; we carefully selected each one -all 90 plus of them.

Ming Alsop-Lim
Executive Coach
Ming delights in partnering with individuals to support them in achieving their fullest potential, irrespective of their background. As a coach, she believes deeply in human agency and derives joy in seeing her clients thrive in their professional and personal lives. She has spent a lot of time exploring the best western and eastern traditions about human excellence, and adopts many of her learnings in her coaching practice. Growing up in Singapore and educated in the west, she is comfortable in diverse cultural milieus, and coaches in English and Mandarin.
Before becoming a professional coach, Ming had nearly two decades of international corporate HR experience in talent development, diversity & inclusion, learning & development and competence management. She worked in Singapore, UK, Netherlands, China and Malaysia for Shell International in commercial, operational and leadership roles, and adopts a global and strategic perspective.
In the interest of giving back, she worked for her alma mater Oxford University to launch a mentoring & coaching programme for graduating students, and was part of its inaugural Race Equality Task Force to embed DEI best practices.
Coaching Style
Clients describe Ming’s coaching style as intuitive, inspiring and direct. She is always respectful of their needs and vulnerabilities, while supporting them to gain clarity about their complex thought processes. There is extra focus on expanding the clients’ resourceful state, reframing perspectives and encouraging clients to take concrete action steps which are aligned with their strengths, values and vision, while viewing themselves as part of a wider ecosystem of relationships. Where necessary, we investigate their mental saboteurs and self-limiting beliefs, and devise strategies to transcend those obstacles.
“Clients love how I am intuitively drawn to their profound inner resilience as a solution-focused coach. I excel in making them aware of their multiple talents and tapping into their flow states, while gently challenging them to reach deep into their transformational potential.”

What Our Clients Say
The six sessions I had with my ECC Coach changed my perspective of coaching. I was initially uncertain (and possibly sceptical) about the benefits of coaching but my coach read me very well and knew when to coax a response out from me by being encouraging and when to firmly push me to see the benefits of reframing some of my previously held positions.
Both from my personal experience of ECC’s approach, and from seeing the impact on our company I can particularly recommend their pragmatic approach and their insight into our collective and individual needs.

I found my ECC coaching sessions incredibly valuable – for the unique and necessary space I was seeking as a sole proprietor to feel heard, understood and connected to a peer in business. My coaching experience provided a safe space where I could be the real me, and provided a relationship I could truly trust. Thank you ECC.
The team is a pleasure to work with, consistently bringing expert advice and guidance, energy and professionalism to the partnership.

The coaches at ECC are commercial, pragmatic and highly focused. The coaching they provide on an individual basis has given valuable insight and helped our senior executives to gain greater perspective in terms of managing relationships, prioritising, strategic thinking, influencing and confidence.
