As an experienced coach and facilitator, Jane works with senior executives in a variety of sectors. In both her individual coaching and team facilitation, Jane’s focus is on supporting her clients in developing their leadership style and skills and on improving team effectiveness within high-pressure roles. To achieve these goals she supports her clients in maximising their personal strengths, addressing the challenging dynamics of diverse teams and managing strategic change initiatives. Building on her own extensive commercial experience, Jane empathises with her clients in their complex and fast-paced organisations.
Raising self-awareness and understanding personal impact are the starting point for Jane’s coaching approach. Clearly defining goals, being prepared to challenge what is going on beneath the surface and a focus on achieving sustainable change make for a results-driven coaching programme. Utilising the latest research in neuroscience, Jane has developed brain-based coaching techniques, which aim to create a safe yet stimulating learning environment in which her clients can unlock incredible amounts of potential and confidence.
Jane joined the Executive Coaching Consultancy in 2009 and works with senior women and their managers before, during and after maternity leave. The focus of the coaching is to challenge assumptions and barriers during this period of great change, and to support her clients in balancing a stimulating career with personal fulfilment. Jane also has a keen interest in developing innovative Integrated Leadership programmes.
In a career spanning more than twenty years in the Arcadia Group and House of Fraser, Jane has a proven track record in the development and implementation of strategies in a highly competitive environment. As a Buying and Merchandising Director of nine years, she was responsible for a large team and a multi-million pound budget. Her global business experience, particularly developing strategic partnerships across the USA, Europe and Asia, gives Jane a level of insight and gravitas that her senior clients value.
Training and Qualifications
Jane has a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Social Administration, a Diploma in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching, and is an accredited practitioner in Myers Briggs Type Indicator Step 1 and Strengthscope. Having a coaching supervisor supports Jane’s desire to achieve the highest standards of professionalism in her coaching. She is a Member of the Association for Coaching.
