Prior to becoming an accredited coach, Jane had a career spanning more than twenty years in the Arcadia Group and House of Fraser, with a proven track record in a highly competitive environment. As a Buying and Merchandising Director of nine years, she was responsible for a large team and multi-million pound budget. Her global business experience gives Jane a level of insight and gravitas that her senior clients value.
Working with executives in high-pressure roles, Jane supports her clients during periods of transition. Raising self-awareness, understanding personal impact and maximising individual strengths are the starting point for Jane’s coaching approach. Clearly defining the purpose, being prepared to challenge what is going on beneath the surface and a focus on achieving sustainable change make for a results-driven coaching programme. With over 2000 coaching hours, Jane brings expertise and versatility to her clients.
Utilising the latest research in neuroscience, Jane adopts brain-based coaching techniques which aim to create a safe yet stimulating environment in which her clients can unlock incredible amounts of potential and confidence. She challenges assumptions and barriers during periods of change, and supports her clients in balancing a stimulating career with personal fulfilment.
Jane also has extensive experience in coaching individuals through the parental transition since joining the Executive Coaching Consultancy. She has also coached more than 150 managers of parental leavers, bringing a balance of pragmatism and insight into these sensitive discussions.
Training and Qualifications
Jane has a BA(Hons) in Sociology and Social Administration, a Diploma in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching (ILM and EMCC accredited), and is an authorised practitioner in Myers Briggs Type Indicator Step 1 and Strengthscope. She is a member of the Association for Coaching.
