Prior to coaching, Fiona worked to Board Director level in advertising and communications development. She spent 10 years in top ten advertising agencies, mostly in strategic brand communications planning, including as a Board Planning Director at J Walter Thompson, working on Kellogg’s, Macmillan, Post Office and Nintendo. This was followed by 15 years running her own qualitative research consultancy, working on projects for clients including KraftJacobSuchard, the BBC and the UK’s national newspapers’ marketing agency. Fiona’s move into coaching drew from this experience of developing brands, and of working with multiple client teams across a gamut of sectors. Her coaching builds on the particularly wide perspective on leadership development this background brings.
Quick to build rapport and earn trust, Fiona follows her client’s agenda, but her focus in coaching is on leadership development and so on results, and clear shifts in behaviours. Her thoughtful, collaborative approach is rooted in action and performance
Fiona has been regularly delivering parental coaching for ECC since 2014, across key client sectors, including digital, communications, banking and law.
Fiona’s specialisms are executive coaching and team coaching: in both arenas, she moves the thinking around to work with aspects that are about the client’s role, those that are about their individual approach, and those related to the organisation itself.

“Fiona was a fantastic coach. She made me feel at ease and understood all my comments and queries. She offered well thought out professional solutions to any issues I had and we discussed how I could deal with them. Fiona had me thinking about issues I would otherwise not have considered in respect of going back to work in the short term and long term.”
