Jo worked in leading HR and Talent Development roles for 16 years in a broad range of sectors including Financial Services, Retail and FMCG before moving into specialist executive coaching nine years ago.
It was her passion for seeing the visible and measurable change her coaching expertise brought about in the people she worked with which led her to move into a full-time coaching role. Her coaching work has taken her into many sectors and organisations both nationally and overseas, working primarily at a senior management and board level.
Every one of Jo’s programmes is different depending on the person and the purpose. Whether the goal is developing leadership capability and insight, building self-confidence, team development or leading change – Jo’s approach is results driven, grounded in practical action, identifying and enabling the core strengths of each individual.
Firmly focused on the belief that leadership authenticity is essential, Jo works with senior executives to identify their personal goals and challenges ahead of supporting them to discover, within themselves, how they can realise their ambitions/aspirations.
Her broad business experience enables her to confidently support and challenge her clients, providing insight, enabling personal development and most importantly a commitment to action.
Jo is warm, flexible in her approach, an energiser and enables people to think differently. This is reflected in her coaching style, and she quickly builds strong, positive relationships with her clients that accelerate their capacity to flourish and achieve their goals.
She has a particular interest in coaching emerging senior leadership talent, those making a leadership transition and people facing significant challenge and change. She also works with leadership teams and boards to create shared goals, build trust, identify and resolve organisational leadership challenges and work more effectively as a team to drive business performance and create successful and empowering organisations.
Jo has been involved in Parental Coaching since 2009 and she is passionate about supporting women to successfully and proactively manage this life changing transition and realise their ambitions. She is able to pull on her own life experiences to make this a positive and enabling experience!

"Jo provided an objective sounding board on the particular issues I was facing at work and at home as a result of entering motherhood. She was instrumental in getting me to focus on finding solutions to the issues instead of wallowing in self-pity."
