The Executive Coaching Consultancy’s Professional Coach Recognition Programme (PCRP) is a robust, professional and practical route to gain the skills, experience and confidence to become successful executive coaches.

PCRP is highly experiential, underpinned by sound psychological theory and deliberately run with small cohorts to provide a high touch approach. We have designed the programme to be flexible and to fit around people’s busy lives. We work with each individual coach on the programme to help capitalise on their growing experience and hone their coaching style.

Our experienced coaches and coaching supervisors will ensure a very personal and tailored journey to coach accreditation. The rigorous assessment gives participants, organisations and clients confidence in professional and ethical practice.

PCRP is recognised by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) and Accredited by the Association for Coaching (AC).

Who is this for?

The Professional Coach Recognition Programme is for experienced professionals who are taking up or extending their roles as coaches and wish to gain a recognised standard of Accreditation.  Participants may be from organisations or working as independent consultants/coaches.

For successful entry onto the programme, ideal participants will have:

  • A successful business track record and a good understanding of what coaching is
  • Some experience of providing or receiving coaching
  • The opportunity to provide executive coaching within their own organisation/network

We carefully interview and select individuals for each programme and we want each cohort to have diversity of approaches, coach backgrounds and applications.

What the Programme Covers

Consists of 105 hours of guided learning time over 10 months including:

  • Five days of workshops for skills practice and knowledge development, run at our offices in Central London
  • Supervision webinars to share group learning and maintain momentum
  • A minimum of 12 hours of 1:1 supervision
  • Observed live coaching assessments
  • Development of reflective learning, reviewing recordings of sessions
  • Professional assessment of portfolio (with written work to demonstrate knowledge and practical experience)
  • Coaching assignments to demo 75 hours of coaching experience
  • Accreditation support webinar, presented by the Association for Coaching

Outcomes

Upon successfully completing this programme, you will achieve the prestigious Executive Coach Accreditation with the Association for Coaching – a respected global, not for profit professional body. PCRP is also recognised by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

Joining the PCRP includes Association for Coaching member benefits such as events, bi-annual journal, access to support for supervision, co-coaching and on-line forums.

Access to the Alumni Community:

The icing on the PRCP cake is the access you receive to the coach alumni community. The community is made up of internal and external coaches from a wide range of backgrounds seeking to continue their coach development and networking. We run events on current coaching topics and trends and provide on-going support and contact with other professionals.
